Memphis regional Grace Groups for those impacted by homosexuality will begin March 4th, 2010!
After much prayer and consideration we are hosting support for those who are seeking God’s grace in the midst of their search for answers regarding homosexuality.
In the spirit of Grace Rivers, these groups will not be preachy, nor will they be heavy handed in pressing people to make changes that God is not leading them to make at this time. Our Core Values will lay the foundation for safety and respect for all who attend. There will be topical discussions and principles that will draw us all into a deeper understanding of the unconditional love of Christ and into authentic relationship with each other.
The grace of Christ is transforming and therefore we leave the changing and the timing up to Jesus. We are merely ambassadors of Christ sharing with others how much He loves them.
We will begin with a mixed group of individuals and families meeting together. We have found this can be very encouraging for everyone attending. As the ministry develops it is our plan to separate these groups for more personal interraction and support. This is to develop a pattern of ministry and to continue training group leaders for further development.
